Energy Efficiency in Grid Based Power Supply Project
Objective(s)The object of this project is to increase reliability and efficiency of the electrical power supply in Bangladesh through expanding and improving the 230 kV and 132 kV power transmission systems of PGCB.
i. To construct new 230 kV transmission lines.
ii. To construct new 132 kV transmission lines.
iii. To renovate existing 132 kV transmission lines..
iv. To construct new 230/132 kV and 132/33 kV substations.
v. To renovate existing 132/33 kV substations.
vi. To extend 230 kV and 132 kV bays at existing substations.
Scope of Work1. New 230 kV transmission line: 82.48 km
2. New 132 kV transmission line: 111.35 km
3. Renovation of existing 132 kV transmission line: 196 km
4. New 230/132 kV substations: 5 nos.
5. New 132/33 kV substations: 8 nos.
6. Renovation of existing 132/33 kV substations: 6 nos.
7. Bay extensions: 15 nos.
